SiteLock scans your website daily for malware, vulnerabilities and blacklisting, and helps you clean up anything it finds.
Activating SiteLock
- Order the SiteLock plan that matches your site count from our store.
- After provisioning, your SiteLock access details arrive by email and appear on the service page under Services > My Services in the Client Area.
- Log in to the SiteLock dashboard, add your domain, and confirm site ownership when asked.
- The first scan usually completes within a day; results appear in the dashboard.
What SiteLock covers
- Daily malware scans of your pages and files.
- Blacklist monitoring for major search engines and blocklists.
- Automatic or assisted cleanup, depending on plan, when malware is found.
- A trust badge you can display on your site.
If a scan finds something
Follow the remediation steps in the dashboard. If malware is inside your hosting account, you can also open a ticket; our team can look at the account side with you.
