This guide covers the first steps after ordering a game server from DoRoyal.
1. Your service details
After checkout, your game control panel address, login details, and your server's IP and port arrive by email, and are also available under Services > My Services in the Client Area.
2. Log in to the game panel
Open the control panel address from your service details and sign in. The panel is where you manage your server day to day: start, stop, and restart it, read the live console, change maps and settings, and upload mods or configs.
3. Configure your server
- Set the server name, password, and gameplay options the panel exposes for your game.
- Upload addons, plugins, or maps through the panel's file manager.
- Restart the server after config changes so they take effect.
4. Connect
Share your server's IP and port with your players; they connect through the normal in-game server browser or connect command. You will find both in the panel and in your welcome email.
Troubleshooting
- Server will not start: read the console output in the panel; a bad config or mod is the usual cause.
- Changes did not apply: save the config and restart the server.
- Anything platform side: open a ticket with your server IP and what you saw in the console.
